Frequently Asked Questions
Can infants have your honey?
No. As with all honey, it should NEVER be given to infants under one year old.
When is your honey harvested?
We typically harvest in mid-to-late summer, from July through September, and sometimes there may be a smaller fall harvest depending on weather and bloom conditions.
Is your honey raw and unfiltered?
Yes. Our honey is raw and minimally handled, so it keeps its natural character, flavor, and texture.
Why does each batch have different colors and flavors?
That is a good indication that honey is not mass-produced by industrial farms. Our honey is shaped by native wildflowers, seasonal conditions, and the natural rhythm of the land. Because those factors change over time, each harvest can have its own flavor, color, and floral notes.
Is your honey single-origin or blended?
Each batch reflects our farm and the native wildflowers our bees forage from on the land around them. It is a local, farm-based honey that captures the character of a specific place and season.
How can I tell when a new batch is available?
The best way is to sign up for our harvest alerts. We will let you know when a fresh batch is ready and available.
What if my honey crystallizes?
Crystallization is a natural process in raw honey and does not mean anything is wrong with it. If you prefer a smoother texture, place the jar in warm water and let it gently loosen.
How should I store the honey?
Store your honey in a cool, dry place at room temperature. Refrigeration is not necessary and may cause it to crystallize more quickly.
